If the trap has been set into the ground and is armed, but has not caught a mole and/or you wish to move it to a new location, please refer to the image below and follow these steps to safely disarm the trap before removing it from the ground:
INSERT a stick or screwdriver under the top lever.
LIFT UP until the springs engage and the levers pop up.
WARNING: The scissor jaws are very powerful when activated. Keep hands and fingers away from the trap as injury can occur.
